School Events
At Little Stars School, we believe that meaningful learning extends beyond the classroom. Our school events are thoughtfully designed to enrich every child’s academic journey by providing authentic, hands-on learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. Through collaborative projects, performances, exhibitions, educational excursions, and community celebrations, students apply their knowledge in meaningful ways while developing essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. These shared experiences strengthen the partnership between school and families, celebrate the unique strengths of every child, and nurture a supportive community where students are inspired to become confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
ART EXHIBITION
Our Art Exhibition celebrates the essential role of the arts in children’s holistic development, bringing the school community together to honour the creativity, curiosity, and unique perspectives of every learner.
The exhibition provides meaningful opportunities for students to share their artistic journeys, offering tangible evidence of the values and learning experiences that reflect our school vision. Through hands-on exploration with natural and sustainable materials, children engage in creative dialogue with their environment, developing curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
SCIENCE EXHIBITION
The Little Stars School Science Exhibition encourages children to observe, question, experiment, and analyse their everyday experiences, fostering essential scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills. Through research, experimentation, and collaboration, students deepen their understanding of scientific concepts while strengthening their analytical thinking, communication, and creativity.
By presenting their projects to the school community, students gain confidence in sharing their discoveries, exchanging ideas, and learning from the diverse perspectives of their peers. The exhibition also inspires children to recognise the important role of science in developing innovative solutions and creating a more sustainable future.
SPORTS DAY
Physical education is an essential component of holistic learning, supporting the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of every child. Our Sports Day provides meaningful opportunities for students to apply movement skills, demonstrate positive attitudes, and participate in collaborative experiences that promote lifelong health, well-being, and active living.
Through active participation in individual and team events, students develop essential attributes such as discipline, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and respect for others. They learn the value of setting goals, persevering through challenges, making responsible decisions, and celebrating both individual achievement and collective success.
SCHOOL PRODUCTION
Our annual School Production extends learning beyond the classroom by providing authentic opportunities for students to engage in educational drama through collaborative play, creative expression, and meaningful performance. Recognising drama as a valuable pedagogical approach, the programme supports children’s cognitive, linguistic, social, and emotional development while fostering confidence, imagination, and effective communication.
The School Production therefore serves not only as a celebration of the performing arts but also as an integral part of our educational programme, nurturing confident communicators, creative thinkers, and collaborative learners.
